Allison Kupfer Poteet
Allison Kupfer Poteet conducts senior-level executive searches nationwide across the social sector including philanthropy, policy/advocacy, systemic reform and innovation, health and health care, with particular interests in social entrepreneurship, rapid scaling, racial equity and opportunity, democracy/civic engagement, research and evaluation, and the role of technology in increasing equity and access.
She was previously a Senior Associate at Isaacson, Miller. Prior to her work in search, Allison was a consultant in the education practice at Abt Associates, a global research and evaluation firm, where she served as Deputy Project Director for the first large-scale evaluation of an early childhood curriculum in a high-poverty urban setting and a groundbreaking study of the effects of self-regulation on literacy outcomes among at-risk preschoolers in Miami-Dade County. Allison received an Ed.M. in education policy from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and a B.A. in American Studies summa cum laude from Skidmore College. She has been active in statewide and national political campaigns, with a special interest in children's and economic justice issues. She serves on the Board of Directors for Island Readers & Writers, a nonprofit that provides innovative reading programs for children living on Maine's coastal and inland islands. www.nonprofitprofessionals.com |
