| WHO WE ARE
Rita Louh is a seasoned advisor, facilitator, and leader who is passionate about supporting organizations in achieving greater social impact. Rita’s has worked directly with non-profit organizations and philanthropy, on topics ranging from strategy to impact measurement, from leadership development to organizational change.
With 15+ years of experience in the social sector, Rita supports organizations not only in thinking deeply about how to achieve even greater impact, but also in navigating the challenges that come with any significant transformation. Rita’s clients have included the San Francisco Foundation, First Place for Youth, Glide Memorial Church and Foundation, Fresh Lifelines for Youth, and Homeless Prenatal Program, among others.
Prior to her consulting practice, Rita served as the Chief Strategy and Impact Officer at Tipping Point Community, an engaged grant maker focused on reducing poverty in the Bay Area. In this role, she managed Tipping Point's growth as it more than tripled grant making and staff and played a senior leadership role in the development of Tipping Point's grant making approach, management assistance and impact measurement. She also led the direct support provided to a number of diverse grantees, ranging from grass-roots organizations with deep histories in their communities to innovative initiatives launched for the first time in the Bay Area. Using her direct experience as a leader and manager and her skills in business planning and leadership development, Rita assisted groups as they made significant strategic, organizational and operational shifts and was recognized by grantees for her support and coaching.
Previously Rita was the National Program Director for New Leaders for New Schools, which seeks to ensure high academic achievement for all children, especially students in poverty and students of color by recruiting, selecting and preparing leaders for urban public schools. She also assisted a variety of nonprofit, philanthropic, and for-profit clients as a strategy consultant with The Bridgespan Group and with Bain and Company.
Rita received her B.A. from Harvard University and her M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
