Diana Frothingham brings extensive experience in both the non-profit and private sectors, managing the finances for small and multi-million dollar enterprises. She has lead institutions through all stages of financial development, from start-up, capital raises, valuation reporting, operational management, through workouts, turnarounds, growth and spin out. In each case, she has assisted clients to analyze, understand, report, communicate and implement their strategic financial objectives.
From an operational perspective, Diana has worked with clients to develop and implement accounting systems, to establish effective analytical and reporting tools, including cash flow budgets, forecasts, account and billing audits, and to strengthen internal controls, improve transparency and ensure accuracy of reporting and year-end filing of regulatory reports.
Diana previously held the position of CFO/Director of Strategic Development for a $15M non-profit organization where she worked with senior executives and the Board of Trustees to strengthen the financial position of the organization. Diana’s responsibilities included analysis of program areas to determine appropriate price per service, profitability and expansion/ discontinuation of service lines. Additionally, during her tenure, she oversaw the financial aspects of program relocations, infrastructure changes and major construction projects.
Diana holds a Master of Science in Accountancy from Bentley University and an undergraduate degree from Colby College.
